My work for Radio France has taken me all over the country, to the following stations:

ici Pays Basque (Bayonne)
ici Cotentin (Cherbourg)
ici Armorique (Rennes)
ici Touraine (Tours)
ici Belfort-Montbéliard (Belfort)
ici Maine (Le Mans)
ici Béarn Bigorre (Pau)

In January 2025, all of Radio France's local radios rebranded from "France Bleu" to "ici".
In June of 2024, I covered the events of the 80th Anniversary of the Normandy Beach Landings as a reporter live from Sword Beach and Pegasus Bridge. I conducted interviews in both English and French (sometimes having to provide translations live on-air) of a variety of different people including political figures, military personnel, veterans and their families, members of the public and Vincent Niclo (a well known French singer who played a concert on the beach for the occasion).
I also hosted some shows in studio during the week with interviews and the promotion of local local events organised around D-DAY, highlighting the role played by many smaller organisations and charities during this historic week of celebration and remembrance.
I was also tasked with providing photos for the live website page that covered the event: here.
Whilst working at France Bleu Belfort Montbéliard (one of Radio France’s local radio stations in the East of France) I was tasked with conceptualising, recording, editing and creating a short podcast series involving local children. The resulting product, “Soyons francs, petits Comtois” comprises of 40 shorts episodes around the idea that children speak the truth based on the French saying "la vérité sort de la bouche des enfants" (literally: the truth comes from the mouth of children).
In each episode, I sit with a pair of children aged between 6 and 10 years old and ask them questions about life :
What is school for?
What is the best superpower?
What are friends for?
Is it better to have siblings or to be an only child?
This usually resulted in sweet and funny answers from the children who would quite often surprise me with their wisdom. The episodes were broadcast twice a day over the course of July and August of 2024 on both Belfort and Besançon’s regional Radio France stations.
Some of the episodes are also available to stream on Radio France’s website.
* “Soyons francs, petits comtois” = “Let’s be frank, little comtois”; it is a play on words. Franc-Comtois is the name of the inhabitants of the Franche-Comté region.During my time working for Radio France I have interviewed many different people from all areas of society. Event organisers, artists, charity workers and volunteers, local politicians, celebrities, various experts and members of the public.
All of this, whilst always sticking to Radio France's Editorial Guidelines and bringing balanced and rounded stories to the audience, always keeping impartiality at the center of my work.
Some of my most famous interviews include:
All of these were conducted live, on air, on one of Radio France's local "ici" stations. I was the sole presenter and interviewer present at the time.
I helped to create World Radio Normandy Caen, the only fully English-speaking radio in Normandy.
I managed the recruitment, guiding and management of volunteers at the station and designed the logo.
I conducted interviews of local figures and produced some of the station’s first ever shows, including occasional news bulletins.
I am the creator and main administrator of wrnc.eu, the radio’s website.
